MAC
New Presentation = Command + N
Open = Command + O
Close = Command + W
Save = Command + S
Save as = Command + shift + S
Print = Command + P

PC
New = Ctrl + N
Open = Ctrl + O
Save = Ctrl + S
Print = Ctrl + P



Edit Menu
MAC
Undo = Apple + Z
Redo = Apple + Y
Cut = Apple + X
Copy = Apple + C
Paste = Apple + V
Select All = Apple + A
Find = Apple + F

PC
Undo = Ctrl + Z
Redo = Ctrl + Y
Cut = Ctrl + X
Copy = Ctrl + C
Paste = Ctrl + V
Select All = Ctrl + A
Find = Ctrl + F


Quit PowerPoint = Apple + Q

F5 Slide Show in PC
F7 Spell Check in PC and MAC


HIGHLIGHT TEXT
in order to copy or cut
this works in PowerPoint and Word

Slide mouse over text
click and hold down while sliding over selected words of images
Set blinking cursor at the start of text
Hold down the shift key
Move arrow key – left, right, up, down, end, page up, page down
When chosen area is highlighted then release shift key
Do not touch any other keys until you have cut or copied

Select all
Edit menu > Select All
Keyboard short cut
Ctrl + A For PC
Apple + A for MAC

Select a word
Click twice on the word

Select a line of text
Click three times on a line

Copyright symbol can be created using
open parenthesis
then the letter c
then closed parenthesis
(this does not work with all fonts)
